Spring Fever

This springy weather has me in the mood to shop. First up, bags. I recently organized my handbags and realized I haven’t bought a new one in quiet a while. I think this is mainly because I tend to purchase classic styles that I never get sick of and colors that never look dated but I’m wanting to break out of my love-of-basics mold. So far the top brands I’ve been admiring are Lizzie Fortunato, 10 Crosby Derek Lam, Loeffler Randall, Steven Alan, Moyna, and Foley + Corinna. They have the perfect edgy mix of pony hair, beads, mixed patterns, or colorfulness that I’m looking for and that I know I won’t grow tired of too quickly. Yay, for warm weather!
Getting my Kicks
Seriously in love with all of these sneakers. I’m pretty hooked on Nike shoes from their Liberty collaborations to their running shoes and now even their weather proof shoes are making my heart swoon — what’s up new snow boots?! Maison Martin Margiela leather shoes / NIKE wedge heels / Elizabeth and James metallic shoes / Ash hidden wedge sneaker / Rachel Zoe high top shoes / Sandro High Top Sneakers
Besides the above here are a few more items I’ve saved online & waiting for a sale (shh!):
Sigh….Love them.
Winter Blues

When the weather goes below 30° — I cozy up in my warmest layers. VPL Swathe Mohair-Blend Sweater Vest + Rag & Bone Moto Shearling boots. Bring it on, Old Man Winter!
Flask Bangles by Cynthia Rowley

It’s a bracelet, it’s a flask — no, it’s SUPER BRACELET! I’ve always been a believer of killing two birds with one stone or being able to multitask so when Cynthia Rowley released her flask bangles, I definitely swooned over her design. Since, I’ve always wanted a flask and this one just seems way more up my alley — if I had it my way, I’d be opening up one of these bangles for Christmas.
Street Style, Sort Of

It’s not everyday you see this many Chanel bags on the side of the street being delivered. It brightened my day for a second — until I realized none of these were mine.
Chanel = ultimate holiday hookup.
Silver Oxfords

I’m completely enamored with these silver Loeffler Randall oxfords but understandably they can be a bit pricey for most with a price tag of 350 dollars — however, there are great alternatives out there like these silver oxfords I found on Tobi which recently went on sale for 15 bucks! This is is more of a splurge versus steal situation rather than save.
I mean, who are we kidding — I love all Loeffler Randall shoes and shoes with silver accents like these silver accented sandals by Elizabeth & James.
I don’t know why — but I want to be friends with this guy. I think he would inspire me.
On a related side note — I love his denim button down top which I believe should be a staple in everyone’s closet. A few of my favorites are by Acquaverde, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and Joe’s Jeans.

Check out Quincy’s blog post where I show how you can style and wear one dress five different ways. A simple sheath dress is incredibly versitile as long as you know how to rock it!
Get this same sheath dress before its too late. We are selling out and aren’t going to make more in this color! Check it out here.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not wishing summer away so quickly but with the recent rainy weather and chill in the air, I’ve been thinking of fall. Actually, I’ve been thinking of ankle boots.
One thing I do before any season change is save images, tear sheets, and links to things I want to buy. Yes, I’m organized but in a dangerous, shopaholic sort of way. Here are a few brands I swoon over in varying price ranges that make a mean boot:
