Red Carpet Looks

In my (very humble) opinion, Ginnifer Goodwin was the best dressed woman at last night’s Emmy awards. I say this not because I don’t think there weren’t other amazing gowns but more because I feel Ginnifer took a slight risk by deciding to wear this orange appliquéd dress. I don’t mean “risk” like Bijork’s swan dress but simply saying that anyone can throw on safe, easy silhouettes and fabrics and look great but personally, I love when I see dressed like this on the red carpet. Well done Ginnifer.

My all-time favorite red carpet look was the Haute Couture Givenchy gown worn by Cate Blanchett. She took a slight risk wearing this gown which had potential to look slightly too matronly. The lavender and yellow colors along with the open back made this dress a complete show stealer.
